Getting Paid
Greek Market Hub partners with STRIPE to process your store’s transactions.
When you join Greek Market Hub, you will be prompted to complete your payment details to make sure you get paid. If you did not complete your banking set-up or need to update your banking information, please do this FIRST to make sure you receive your payouts. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THIS, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE PAYMENTS.
Your vendor dashboard page will show you an overview of your recent transactions. To access your Stripe dashboard, click on the “payment” tab on your Greek Market Hub vendor dashboard. From this page, you can Set up, edit or disconnect your connection to Stripe.
More about Stripe: Our Payment Processing Partner
Whether you create a new Stripe account or utilize an existing one, all transactions & payments thru your GreekMarketHub.com vendor store are processed directly through Stripe. GreekMarketHub.com does not handle any payment processing issues. Any queries about payment processing issues have to be done directly with Stripe.
Funds Availability
The first payout for every new Stripe account is typically paid out 7 to 14 days after the first successful payment is received. For vendor outside of the United States, the waiting period can be as little as 3 days for European countries, and up to 30 days in countries such as Brazil. This initial payout timing requirement cannot be waived.
Understanding Stripe’s Payout schedule
Your payout schedule determines when Stripe sends money to your bank account. You can select your preferred payout schedule during onboarding or update it any time in the Stripe Dashboard.
Types of payout schedules
The following payout schedules are available:
- Manual payouts: You choose when to send payouts and how much to transfer.
- Daily payouts: Stripe automatically transfers your available funds every business day.
- Weekly or monthly payouts: You set a specific day of the week or day of the month for payouts.
- Monthly adjustments: If your selected payout day doesn’t exist in a given month (for example, the 31st in a 30-day month), Stripe moves the payout to the last day of that month.
- Non-business days: Payouts that are scheduled on weekends or holidays arrive on the next business day.
How payout timing works
Choosing a payout schedule doesn’t change how long it takes for your pending balance to become available. It only controls when payouts are sent.
For example, if your account is set to daily payouts with a 3-business-day payout speed, Stripe pays out funds daily from transactions that were captured three business days earlier. Example: funds from the sales your store did on Monday will be remitted to your designated bank account on Thursday.
If you do not receive your funds according to the schedule above:
- This might be related to account verification. Please check both your Stripe Dashboard Verifications area or your email to see if Stripe requested additional information from you to complete this process.
- This might be related to bank processing time. Banks can add extra days, including weekends and holidays. Once the bank has finished processing your payout, they will deposit the funds into your account automatically.
