With Instant Payouts, you can access your balance immediately following a successful charge. Instant Payouts are available at any day or time, including weekends and holidays, and funds typically settle in the associated bank account within 30 minutes.
- Request any amount between $0.50 -$9,999.00.
- Instant Payouts can only be done once a day.
- Funds acquired from card payments are available for Instant Payouts as soon as the charge is complete. ACH or bank debits are only available for Instant Payouts after the payment has settled.
- Instant Payouts are generally available in the United States, Canada, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
(An additional 1% fee applies to all Instant Payout transactions.)
New Stripe users aren’t immediately eligible for Instant Payouts. You can check your eligibility in your Stripe Dashboard. Note: initiating an instant payout will not bypass the initial seven-day waiting period for payouts. Also, Stripe can’t perform a negative payout against a debit card to correct a negative Stripe account balance.
Follow these steps to initiate an Instant Payout:
- Log into your Stripe Dashboard and go to Balance → Payouts
- Click “Pay out funds instantly”
- Enter an amount to pay out and select the debit card to which you wish to transfer funds. If you do not have an eligible debit card linked to your account, enter your Visa or MasterCard debit card details.
- Click “Pay out” button to complete your Instant Payout. Funds will appear in the associated bank account within 30 minutes.
If you qualify for Instant Payouts and the Stripe Dashboard mobile app, you can start and monitor standard or instant manual payouts using the mobile app.
To get started, download the Stripe Dashboard mobile app for iOS or Android.
In the app:
- Go to the Balances tab at the bottom of the screen, or click the add icon () from any tab.
- Select Pay out funds.
- If your balance is positive, you’ll see an option to begin the payout process.
